I will be presenting my session “Backup Basics with PowerShell and dbatools” this Thursday, February 18th at 2:30 PM Central Time at the Kansas City SQL Server User Group. I’m looking forward to getting this demo-rich session out in front more of folks to show how easy dbatools makes some of these common backup-related tasks.

He’s worn a number of IT hats since 1999 before landing in database administration, including web server administration and development, systems integration, and database development. When he isn’t picking queries apart and wrangling unruly herds of databases, he can be found by a campfire, planning the next family camping trip, or mentoring the TAN[X] FIRST Robotics Competition team.
